The soft water system was already in our house when we bought it 10 yrs ago. We upgraded our counters shortly thereafter, and the Rep from Cullligan suggested that we get the bypass reverse osmosis product that was just developed. It would prevent us from having to drill a second hole in the granite and risk it being cracked. We went ahead and bought the new product and couldn't be happier! We are very happy that it was suggested. Since then everyone who has come out to service the system has done a wonderful job.
