We have had an excellent experience with Sylvan of Timonium. The staff has been welcoming, professional, and genuinely invested in my daughter’s success. They took the time to understand her individual learning needs and created a supportive environment where she feels encouraged and confident. We have already noticed growth in her academic skills and, just as importantly, in her self-confidence. Communication has been outstanding, and everyone has been kind, patient, and responsive to our questions. We truly appreciate the dedication and care the entire team shows to their students and families. Thank you for making such a positive impact on our daughter’s educational journey!

The counselors are easy to work with, and they listen to your concerns. They get to know your kid and try to work within their limitations. I wish they had an app with dates of class and interaction with counselors and kids, progress and notes, and reviews that could be on that app. The only thing I see missing is having a handout of what was covered with the student that day, so that parents can recap and practice with the kid. There are notable changes in my kids' progress, including attention, span, knowledge of phonics, and other basic reading skills that are needed.

My son has been attending Sylvan Learning Center for five weeks now, and I already see a big difference. He’s recognizing his sight words and can now read full sentences. His confidence has grown, and he’s more eager to learn. One of the best parts is that after school, he asks if he’s going to Sylvan—he truly enjoys it!

Everyone is so easy to work with and flexible. My daughter comes in and gets a little added help from Nicole before her math tests and loves the way she explains things to her. Lindsay is amazing and always available to help.
