The staff was very nice. Dr. Ridgeley was exceptional. If you’re talking about my visit to take my puppy for his vet check if you’re talking about adopting the two kittens that I adopted same same the staff at the Dover SPCA was phenomenal. Very kind very helpful. answered all my questions. I don’t have anything bad to say other than a slight odor and how can that be helped with so many animals in the facility.!!!
The animals are clearly important to the staff there. When we went and adopted a small kitten, she was used to being handled, well taken care of, and has blended into our multi cat family very well.
The entire staff is/was totally committed to the health and safety of the animals. They follow up confirming the proper treatments have been completed and offer ongoing care if needed. They’re honest about the animal’s background and any condition it has endured. It is a bit pricey but that is to ensure the animal is truly wanted and will be cared for appropriately.
I found my forever pet and they didn't make me jump though hoops to get him ..
And my guy needed me as much as I needed him ..he was injured and needed a home ..
Love that the veterinary care was covered as a foster parent. I will say communication was very difficult. I love the idea of a hotline for fosters to call but getting information to the correct people and coordinating care was hard. I’d love to talk more in depth about it if that is helpful. I met the owner one day in passing and would be happy to speak to them about a few issues I encountered. Otherwise I love this organization and will adopt from them in the future.
Although i went in with the idea of a different cat, the little girl i brought home is the perfect fit! I didn’t feel rushed trying to choose my baby and they answered my questions about her past with the best information they had available.
