My 7 year old daughter attended Huntington for 5-6 months due to her first grade teacher telling me she was at the bottom of the class academically. She is now in second grade and her teacher pulled me aside the second week of school to tell me she is testing above nearly everyone in her class in reading, and is scoring a good 15 points higher than where she is expected to be in the fall on the state assessment.
I think so far it has been a positive experience. We are still pretty new so it is a little hard to tell for sure what the long-term outcome will be, but I think so far it seems to be going well. I think the only drawback for a lot of families would be the expense. Unfortunately, I am sure a lot of kids that could benefit from the services wouldn't be able to afford the services. Only reason I gave it a 9 instead of a 10!
Our son has been attending Huntington for over a year, and we have seen incredible growth in both his confidence and academic performance. He has excelled in his studies and surpassed all of his goals. We truly could not be happier or more grateful for Josh’s leadership and the entire Huntington team for their dedication and support of Easton. Their commitment has made such a meaningful difference in his success.
