Our sons have participated in soccer and basketball at flamingo park and we are very happy with the program, especially the staff lead basketball program. The coaches have been wonderful and his skills and confidence have soared.
Coaches are very friendly and they encourage the kids. This is the first time we take the clinic class and it was a test way to practice, focus on techniques, glad we took it! Classes started on time and coaches are very committed. Also, when J sees me carrying all the equipment, chairs, water bottle, etc he runs to help me out! GREAT TEAM!
We really love the program! Our daughter enjoys coming every week, and we’ve already noticed a big improvement in her skills. We also understand that managing a group of 3-year-olds isn’t easy.
The only feedback we’d like to share is that it seems like a lot of class time is spent waiting for late arrivals to get settled. We know that’s out of your control, but our daughter often ends up waiting with nothing to do and starts to lose interest. I wonder if there might be a way to keep the children who are already there engaged, such as splitting the group or having a small activity while everyone arrives.
Overall, we’re very happy with the program and just wanted to share this feedback in case it’s helpful. Thank you for all you do!
We’ve had such a great experience with i9 Sports! My son is currently playing T-ball there and I really love how organized everything is. The coaches are patient, the environment is positive for the kids, and communication has been great. It’s been such a fun experience for our family 💛
I love that they are one day a week. It’s a very positive league. We have been a part of the league for many years and it’s always been great.
Although I sent an email about an incident last weekend and have not heard back. I am not sure if the email is valid so I will paste it here.
I am a parent at soccer at flamingo park in sunrise, FL on Saturdays. Last Saturday my son was playing on field 2 at 10:30. There were only a few players on each team so a coach (in a red shirt) and a staff member (in a blue shirt) were filling in and playing goalies. That was appreciated. However, the young man in the blue shirt was rude to the kids and was cursing. Every time the kids tried to kick a goal in his goal he would say “not today” or something like that. And it was rude the way he was saying it. Not friendly and playful. And then my son finally scored on him and he said “oh f**k”. If it was just one thing I probably wouldn’t even be saying anything and would think it’s just a little mistake. But it was everything combined that has led me to email you.
