This program is more like real soccer for my 8 and 9-year-old... it's more challenging for them than it is over it NASA which they play there as well but I like this one better cuz it makes them work harder
I love how it motivates the kids to try their best and have fun at the same time while participating in the sport. This is my first time and I will definitely keep enrolling my kids.
Well, this time around my son chose basketball and I like that the coaches this time are very hands-on with the kids and actually take time out to practice. Wytch wasn’t done with the prior coaches with my son signed up for football. So the coaches this time is very professional and compassionate about the sport.
I like the casual nature parents mostly have been kind and encouraging. My son tends to be sensitive and I have seen alot of improvement with him he’s grown a lot having less pressure and more fun.
We really liked the Saturday league we did over the summer. The Sunday league doesnt have enough kids for even two teams. we won’t be doing another Sunday league at Tolleson park. The coaches never tried to pitch to the kids at all, although last season it was pitch first then tee if they couldn’t hit it. My son didn’t enjoy it as much this time because it was so different from last season’s baseball.
The kids learn the foundations of the sport, the skills required to be able to do the port successfully. All in an environment of Support, without any pressure from parents or coaches.
My favorite thing is that practices are the same days as games, so we aren’t spending 1/2 our week with extracurriculars. We get a life, and he gets to have fun!
I also love that the league is more laid back, meaning the kids just get to play and have fun. I don’t feel the pressure to perform or win, like other leagues push. It’s what sports was MEANT to be at this age…fun.
Finally, I love the weekly texts we get for reminders of the game info.
