The coach that is helping our little players is from I9 and she’s amazing with the kids. She gives everyone encouragement and support to get out there and play. The kids are so comfortable with her!
For littles (4 years old) the deciding factor for i9 sports vs another club was that practice was the same day as games. I also appreciate how an information tent is always present for games in case of questions or injuries.
I had originally signed up for club Soccer, but the schedule and distance were not doable for our family. We signed up for i9 instead and it has been a much better experience. It’s easy, logistically better, and a low pressure environment.
Coed options, low time commitment, focused on fun and skill building for kids, community based. It’s what sports teams felt like when we were kids. It works with our schedules and doesn’t feel stressful. My kid loves it!
I like the structure and the coaching resources. I like the practice and game on the same day. I wish there was a way to balance out team skill levels.
It's great for beginners and for kids that want to play in the off season. I also like that it's a low time commitment since we have other sports as well.
The volunteers involved in our particular area for volleyball are great; they really care about the kids and promote team building and sportsman ship. I really feel like every kid is encouraged and gets a boost of confidence while they learn.
