Very well organized (many other leagues are a mess in terms of logistics & communication!), everyone is super friendly, refs are engaged and kind & supportive with the calling of the games, and I LOVE the practice & game combo all on one day.
I enjoy how the program is centered on learning the game, sportsmanship, and having fun; there is no riding the bench, criticism, or focus on winning. All of the kids leave with smiles on their faces, and it's a pressure-free way to enjoy playing ball... just the way it should be!
Teach all the fundamentalsI’ in sports for young children. I think the fundamentals are very important so they will learn the rules as well as how to play.
I like that the program gives families an opportunity to try a sport before committing to it long term. I like how the program is taught — words of encouragement, and easy to practice guidelines for families to implement and use outside of the schedule sports time.
The coaches and staff are very supportive and inclusive. Fun and learning are prioritized over skill and winning, which I believe is important for such a young age group (3-5).
I like that it’s attitude and sportsmanship based while still teaching the fundamentals. The coaches and refs make it a priority too. My son needs that. It has helped him so much learn self control and being a team player. That’s going to take him farther than being the best on the team.
