The program is inclusive. The participants are provided opportunities to participate even when the are not necessarily skilled. They are encouraged to work together as a team
I think flag football is too long for 4 year olds. I think an hour would be better for that age. It’s rough to keep them engaged for that long. The coaches were great though!!
i9 provides such an encouraging environment for kids! The staff is amazing and I really appreciate the communication, reminders, and weekly updates. My son is learning so much because the programs focus on fostering a love for sports and sportsmanship.
We like that there is an i9 employee to help coach the practices and games. It makes a difference in how practice is run, than traditional parent coach only.
What I like most about i9 Sports is that it gives kids the opportunity to learn teamwork, sportsmanship, and discipline while having fun. I appreciate that the programs focus on building confidence, developing skills, and making sure every child feels included, regardless of their experience or ability.
I love that the program is about learning and encouraging kids to try their best! Too many sports programs are overly competitive and aggressive, it’s overwhelming. This is a great program for kids to try out different sports and see if they like them first, without a huge time or money commitment.
I like that they are low stress however the flag football for pre-k is way too long. We didn’t know it was 1.5 hours when we signed up. 1 hour for all sports is the max amount it should be for that age.
I like the staff and organization. I wish that we could play others and really compete. If there was another location with low enrollment, maybe they could compete against each other.
I like the consistency and focus on learning the basic fundamentals for early ages in a no pressure environment which tends to work much better in groups of kids with limited attention spans. Letting them build the basic skills and have fun before focusing on competition seems to ensure they are excited to go "compete" and "play" every week. I look forward to seeing our kids put together the basics they've learned and develop the competitive spirit as they get older vs. Starting off all about winning.
