Miles has been a great coach to my son’s soccer team and an asset to I9. My son is looking forward to next season soccer. In the meantime my son is enrolled in basketball with I9
I love the organization of it all and how much is already streamlined and done for the coaches. They really make it as stress free as possible. I also love that it really does seem to be about the kids, which is what matters most to me.
Efficient, mix of schools, location for games, Program Director, Patrick Currier, and formation of teams. Fun for all participants and everyone gets to play.
Low-stakes environment, nice coaches! Practice and then game, all in about an hour, perfect! Communication is great. Refs are great and good with the kids.
It’s refreshing to have an option for youth sports that doesn’t require committing 3 days per week. I also really appreciate that the schedule for practice/games is clear when signing up and that we know the location at signup as well.
The other sports leagues we looked essentially said practices/games could be anywhere in SW Portland or anywhere in SE Portland, and some didn’t even confirm what days of the week practice would be on until after registration was over. The i9 approach is far preferable for functioning in real life!
We also love our coach and have found the league to be well run. Thanks for a great first season! We will be signing up for more!
First experience using the program. We are enrolled on soccer. The online portal with quick access for the schedule is convenient. Our coaches have been great keeping the kids engaged and learning. I also appreciate the team size, gives everyone a chance to play but also allows those who do want to participate more playing time.
Once a week practice/games is great. It is very well organized and run. I like how each level allows more rules of the game to be implemented appropriately for each age group.
