Ahhhh.....after a long week of working my fingers to the bone, listening to complaints from irate customers telling me how inept my employees are, I enter the bastion of manliness, Sport Clips. I'm greeted with a smile by a beautiful young lady, I say young because at this stage in my life, young is the only thing left under my age bracket. After being checked in I'm escorted to a chair where the magic happens. The smiling face asks,"what are we doing today" at that moment I could think of a number of things, none of which includes a haircut. But, let's not forget why I'm here. Just clip away, young one, just clip away. Meticulous shearing happens before I'm swept away to have my head placed into a well of soothing warm water. My face wrapped in a steaming hot towel, scented with the aroma of some far off tropical isle. Before I could gain my senses, the fingers of my stylist are weaving their way through my hair, my temples are being massaged, and I fight off the urge to fall asleep. Then, it's over. Much too soon. A blissful dream is coming to an end. Only the finishing touches yet to be administratored. A minute or two of pampering remain before being thrown back into the den of wolves known as reality.
