Mike was awesome!
I came in knowing nothing (still don’t) and Mike walked me through a lot. Gave me a bunch of information to take back home do research come back and test out a bike.
He's very knowledgeable & personable & made me feel comfortable with beginning this journey
Quality of shop work is good but expensive and price seems to balloon each time I go. Also the front desk person was annoying. Didnt answer the question I actually asked, and over explained stuff I already knew for his own gratification so I didnt end up finding what i was looking for
I brought my bike in for an tune-up estimate and when I found out the price would be higher than the cost of a new bike in my price range, I went to the store to ask if they had any bikes on sale or in my price range.
The sales person was nice but pointed me toward bikes above my price range and discouraged me from buying one that I could afford.
The bikes were very nice but I would have preferred to be shown the bikes I could buy rather than the ones I couldn't.
Great service. Took the time to teach me and guide me through everything without feeling rushed or judged. Very knowledgable and passionate. Great service overall and happy I entered the world of cycling through BH at V. Thanks again!
I love the fact that I called the shop about a specific bike, and when I arrived about an hour later it was assembled and ready.
The sales person was very friendly and helpful. I definitely will be going back for my bike needs.
i always feel like the team is really interested in giving me all the options for my bike and the services needed. they seem to genuinely enjoy what they do and sharing the knowledge with me while addressing any issues or making recommendations.
Staff can be rude & pretentious. Feels like there’s à lack of patience for beginners and I often feel rushed when in the store. Much more likely to go to the park slope location moving forward. One of the guys at Vanderbilt is very nice - unfortunately forgetting his name, but the Asian guy.
Everything. Big fan of Bicycle Habitat. Bought my bike and accessories there. Been shopping there for over 25 years at all the different locations. Took a bike maintenance class there. All the repair guys—especially Eric and Tim at the Vanderbilt store—have done great work keeping my bike on the road and are good dudes, too.
