Me and my spouse are starting the process of looking for a good mid range mountain e-bike (around $5-$7k) for each of us. I was looking at the inventory you have and am looking to learn more about what meets our needs to eventually make a purchase for 2027. I am in Ontario but get out to Alberta once or twice a year (and would like to buy there for the lower sales tax).
I see the different sizes of bikes available - I am 6'3 so am looking for the biggest frame available and my wife is 5'5.
Any good guides to review to learn more about what is best for each of us?
thanks,
Dave
I am a 64 year old who has rediscovered cycling. The staff are obviously cycling enthusiasts who were helpful and friendly. Highly recommend the Bike Shop!
The central location have been very friendly and helpful. It has a great selection of bikes, accessories and clothing, and a great atmosphere - would definitely recommend.
My kid absolutely YARD-SALED his Santa Cruz Bronson C and janked his rig up proper. Needed some fresh bits so he does not play Fortnite all day, so I ordered them online, hoofed it to the downtown shop on my lunch break, and snagged the goods. Got some steps, touched grass, lowered the blood pressure, and got the kids shred sled back on the rip.
Staff is very friendly and engaging, they answered all my questions, regarding the product I purchased and otherwise. Much better than bike shop South. I would rather drive the extra 20 minutes to central than go to South.. which is down the street from my work.
We are from out of town and were in Calgary for a cyclocross race for my son this weekend. In the first race on Saturday he crashed and badly bent the derailleur hanger. We called right before closing time on Saturday and the guy (service manager???) stayed open for an extra half hour to get us the new parts so my son could race again on Sunday morning. Top notch service, much appreciated!!!
Easy access to service for my bike. Quick attention by knowledgeable staff to make a plan for repairs and maintenance. Usually next day turnover and great communication for issues that arose.
Enjoyed the work, didn't like how I had to call the day after it was due to be told itll be time. Respect people took the days off for fun but wpuld have been nice to know it would have been longer upfront.
