Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, extremely helpful at sharing information about cycling. They were wonderful hosts to the Oak Park Cycle Club for our meeting last night, with Leo doing an excellent presentation about cold weather riding.

I had a great experience with Mike. I went in as a total novice wanting to purchase a road bike but had no idea where to begin or what to look for. He was helpful and informative without trying to oversell anything. (I want to note that I had visited another local bike shop where the person was very condescending and not helpful. He barely let me speak or ask any questions and at the end he just referred me to other bike shops. I got the feeling he assumed I couldn't afford anything in there. I left the other place feeling a bit discouraged and almost decided against getting a road bike altogether) Wheel and Sprocket was a totally different experience. Mike helped me pick all my components and gave good recs. They installed everything in less than an hour and he even helped me load my bike in my van at pick up. They offer a service plan that seems like a great deal as well. I highly recommend this place. Thanks again!

Super helpful staff, thank you so much! I got good guidance on a bike replacement for my stolen Trek FX3 (RIP) and help with some of the additional add-ons I needed to replace my ride. Everyone was great.
