I swim an average of 2 days a week and I’m pleased with the condition of both the indoor and outdoor pools. I also take the Barre class with Jamie and she is fantastic!
I love that I can exercise and shower while my children play games, color, and socialize. We love to participate in swim lessons throughout the year and are excited to start piano.
Right now I am not doing the water aerobics. Doing lap lines and it is going good as long as people sign up. Frustrating when I sign up and they try to take my space as I don't do traditional swim with face in water. Life guards are great.
I wish there were a few more classes dedicated to AOAs. There are 3 classes that are that offer the classic SS program that incorporates weight, stability and aerobic exercises that get the heart rate up. I definitely feel like I’ve gotten an overall workout leaving those classes. The other two classes are listed as Fit For Life are heavily weight based. I’m not sure they are actual AOA classes. While I appreciate learning the different muscle groups that are targeted I don’t get much out of those classes. The class is very repetitive in both routine and music. Maybe shake it up and add new music and incorporate some exercises to get the heart rate up.
