I chose Sylvan because I received my Professional Life Coaching Certification through one of Sylvan Founder, Berry Fowler's other companies. When I wanted to get my son tutoring and test prep, I figured that if what he created for the kids is a fraction as good as the training I received, there, there's no better place for my kid to be! The staff is attentive, patient & caring. I don't remember most of the math stuff my son is learning today and Sylvan is throwing things at him that he wasn't even taught before. I can't/don't blame them for that... I THANK THEM for that. Better my son spend six months learning now what he should have learned in 6th thru 9th grade, than have him take his ACT and crash & burn because he had no clue of those concepts. Parents SAY they want their kids to have better lives but they don't expose them to what a "better life" looks like. I was an average student because I was lazy. I didn't have Sylvan in my life... BUT MY SON IS GOING TO HAVE SYLVAN IN HIS!
