I definitely recommend sylvan. My daughter started before high school and I am so glad that I made that decision to get ready and better start in high school. Sylvan is patient and works great with Alex. She loves going to Sylvan and has mastered some of her long vowel sounds working with them. They are also very in sync with her school so she is learning similar things in both school and Sylvan.

We have enjoyed our experience so far! Everyone is very friendly and professional. They know the kids by name and always greet them with enthusiasm. My daughter has worked with various instructors and has liked all of them. I have seen improvement in her reading (she now reads with expression) and even though it is summer, she doesn't complain about going to tutoring.
