My son has been going to Sylvan for about a month, and overall, we’ve had a good experience. I can already see a little progress in his learning. He really likes the learning environment and the way they teach. They do a great job of keeping students motivated and interested in learning. If your child needs extra help, I think Sylvan is a good option.

We chose Sylvan to help my child get a better grasp of mathematic concepts from 6th grade and to help her transition into more challenging pre-algebra concepts as she prepares for 7th grade. Sylvan has proven to be one of the best decisions we have made thus far for her education! The curriculum is topnotch! The staff is attentive and kind! The director, Regina, is extremely helpful in guiding us through understanding and monitoring our child’s progress!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the team at Sylvan Learning Center. Our granddaughter, Genevieve, has been participating in Sylvan's online math program from Germany since January 2026. Despite a six-hour time difference, she has faithfully attended two online sessions every Saturday, and the experience has been nothing short of exceptional. The professionalism, dedication, and genuine care shown by the entire staff have been outstanding. I especially want to recognize Regina Cornelius, Center Manager, whose leadership and commitment to student success are evident in every interaction. She and her team have created an environment where students are encouraged, supported, and inspired to do their very best. What has impressed me most is the quality of Genevieve's online instructors. Keeping a 11-year-old engaged for an extended math session is no small feat, yet they consistently make learning enjoyable while motivating and encouraging her every step of the way. Genevieve genuinely looks forward to her sessions each week, which speaks volumes about the instructors' skill and passion for teaching. Most importantly, the results speak for themselves. Since beginning the program, Genevieve's confidence in math has grown, and her grades have improved. As grandparents, there is nothing more rewarding than seeing her develop both academically and personally. I enthusiastically recommend Sylvan Learning Center to any parent or grandparent looking to give their child an academic advantage. Whether a student needs help catching up, strengthening specific skills, or simply building confidence, Sylvan provides outstanding instruction in a caring, professional environment. Our experience at Sylvan Learning Center has been absolutely wonderful! The staff is kind, patient, and truly dedicated to helping children succeed. My 5-year-old has made tremendous progress in school thanks to the personalized attention and engaging learning activities at Sylvan. We've seen improvements not just academically, but also in confidence and excitement about learning. I’m so grateful for everything the team has done to support my child’s growth!

This is our second round with sylvan. They are great for individual instruction and helping to build confidence in new skills. Some instructors are not in tune with the kids than others but overall a great experience. Mr. Graydon in the Sandhills center has been outstanding!

My daughter really enjoys going to Sylvan. So, that tells me she’s in an environment that she’s not only learning, having fun while learning, and feels welcomed. The last meeting to see her progression the staff was really nice at the Sandhills location and made some good suggestions.

The entire staff at Sandhills are above and beyond in every aspect of that operation. More specifically, Brittany, Jessica, and Michelle have always been available (timely and eager) to answer questions and address administrative concerns. While I don’t know the names of the teachers who are working with my son, I do know they have a highly effective game plan. My son has far exceeded the initial goals we set at both Sylvan and school. I offer, without reservation, a strong recommendation for this team for anyone in need of their services.
