This experience has been phenomenal. I saw significant increases in my child's confidence immediately, and it's played a major role in what he's able to retain. I'm seeing some improvement in his ability to try on his own as well which is a huge step in the right direction. Some children experience learned helplessness and are convinced they can't do the work. Confidence is the best remedy for that. The only reason I did not give Sylvan a solid 10 out of 10 is because I was hoping to use this as a supplement to homeschooling. They offer daytime hours during the summer but not the school year due to quality teachers returning to full-time positions. After my initial meeting, I had the understanding that if there was a big enough need, some limited day time hours could be made avaialble. That is likely not the case even with the retired teacher community. That said, I am extremely happy with the experience.

The communication and routine feedback have been great. Also their flexibility to support schedule changes has also been overwhelmingly positive.

We have had a great experience. From the start they have been open and honest with us answering all questions and being so flexible. My daughter loves coming and I love the extra caution they take to ensure the kids safety!

I highly recommend Sullivan Learning Center to any parent looking to enrich and strengthen their child's education. Sullivan consistently delivers exactly what they promise by providing a safe, welcoming, and encouraging environment where students can build the confidence they need to succeed academically. My daughter was excited to attend because she wanted to improve her reading skills. After her very first day, she came out smiling and full of confidence, knowing she had found the support and guidance she needed. The caring staff made her feel comfortable and motivated to learn, and she looked forward to every session. Thanks to Sullivan Learning Center, she successfully completed her fourth-grade year with greater confidence in her reading abilities. She is now excited to begin fifth grade, knowing Sullivan will continue to support her every step of the way. I am incredibly grateful for the positive impact they have had on her education and would highly recommend them to any family.

Lily has had increased confidence in her math skills and has raised her grade from a D to a C+

It would be great to have an online scheduling option to adjust our own schedule as events in our life come up. Overall, I have had a positive experience.

Both of my sons ( now in their 40's) , had great success with Sylvan (late 1980's). When one of my older grandchildren was struggling in school (he is now in his early 20's), Sylvan was there for him, also, and it was of tremendous help, especially because he had a learning disability. Now, my 7 1/2 yo grandson struggled in 1st grade. They wanted to retain him, but did not. We tried the school system's summer school, but it was not meeting his needs for reading and writing, so we enrolled him in Sylvan. So far, he has enjoyed the program and I am excited to see how much improvement he has made this summer going into his 2nd grade year.
