It has been a blessing to have access to Daryl and his staff at this center to help my children through school, especially now, with hard subjects like high school math and science, far beyond anything I could teach them myself. Daryl is extremely smart and a great teacher, making difficult subjects approachable for kids. Becky has also been wonderful and easy to deal with, especially in coordinating their sessions. I appreciate having this service and have used it for multiple years. I highly recommend it for anyone with kids needing help with school or looking for enrichment.

Great after-school program. The teachers are very helpful and really care about helping students improve. They take time to explain things clearly and create a good learning environment. I’ve seen a big positive difference in confidence and learning. Very thankful for all their hard work and support. Highly recommend this program.

Our child has been working with Daryl Cooper at the Fredericton Sylvan learning centre. He is an expert in his field which gave us a lot of confidence when deciding to pursue tutoring with Sylvan. Our child consistently finds the sessions helpful and also appreciates that Daryl is readily able to help with any science or math problem. She too appreciates his knowledge and expertise and has commented on how 'smart' he is a number of times. It has alleviated a lot of stress for her and her grades are improving. We have recommended Sylvan to two other students and at least one has signed up for tutoring at Sylvan.

I didn’t feel he got much out of it. The people are all very nice and accommodating which is what we loved but at the end of the day he didn’t improve much more than he started.

We are fully committed to helping, but true progress relies heavily on the student's willingness to participate in the process. As you mentioned, we try multiple approaches to help students succeed, but the ultimate success of the program depends on the student's willingness to engage.

Sylvan has been a tremendous help with my education. The staff are excellent to work with and show a strong determination to help you achieve your academic goals. I would heavily recommend Sylvan to anyone in need of a reliable confident tutor.

I wish there was space for older kids to not be disrupted by younger kids.

We just started at sylvan a month ago but I notice an improvement in my son’s confidence and drive to actually read. It is a very welcoming environment and he is always happy to go and he’s happy when he leaves! I really like that I can track his progress with mysylvan.

My daughter has been attending Sylvan for well over a year now. While completely out of school due to medical reason, her teacher at Sylvan was able to teach her a week’s works of curriculum in an hour or two. Bringing her to Sylvan means she has not lost any credits while being out of school and will graduate on time, with her friends.
