My son is legally blind in one eye, he has never enjoyed reading. He was in third grade during the pandemic. He had a lot of trouble, by the end of 4th grade, he had an IEP and was in the special education program. He hated school and was starting to have behavioral issues. I felt like the program was not helping him catch up with his peers. In fact it was quit the opposite, we were losing ground quickly. We joined Syvan the end of 5th grade. His last full year in the pecial Education program at school was 6th grade. His last full year with Sylvan was 7th grade. He will be entering eight grade strong. His tutor not only helped him catch up to his grade level: more importantly she helped him regain confidence in himself.

Our child is gaining confidence and completing more of her schoolwork in shorter time periods. She is happier and looks forward to her future which includes a job and college courses, She really likes her teachers at Sylvan and looks forward to her sessions. Thank you!

Sylvan has helped my daughter so much. My daughter actually loves going there to learn more. The teachers and coordinator are very friendly and helpful. They have helped my daughter read better. I would defiantly recommend them to everyone!

Since my daughter has started going to Sylvan I have seen her attitude and confidence improve so much! The staff is so friendly and works hard to individualize the session to each child's needs, which her school could not do. I would recommend Sylvan Learning Center for any child who needs that extra bit of help.

So far our experience with the Sylvan Learning Center in Springfield, MO has been great. Our son has been attending sessions for 5 weeks and he seems to be excited about what he is learning. He actually mentioned that he didn't mind reading now. We are looking forward to more improvements and continued success.

My daughter loves going there! She has fun and learning a lot. She always happy afterwards! She loves her teachers! We see great improvement. Even her teacher sees the improvement. I got two good notes from the teacher after being there for a month! I would definitely recommend this program to everyone!
