Renate was curious early to understand our real estate goals. She was efficient in showing us options to focus our search so that we did not spend time viewing properties that did not match the criterion. Renate helped me sell two condos that were both in need of refurbishment prior to sale. She had a firm grasp of what work should be done in order to increase the appeal of the properties, and what work could or should be skipped. She worked with the contractors throughout the construction process to ensure the upgrades were done satisfactorily. I could not have asked for a more attentive and involved broker.

It was a great experience working with Renate. She is extremely knowledgable about the different areas of metro Detroit and the value of properties. Renate was committed and determined in helping us find our first home in a very tough market. As first time home buyers she educated us throughout the process, always answered any questions we had and always made herself available. She was encouraging and patient as we toured many homes and lost several offers, but guided us to what is now the best home for us, she wasn't going to let us settle and truly cared about finding us a great place we can enjoy and build our family. Renate provides services way above and beyond any reasonable expectation. She cleaned our yard of storm debris in our absence, dusted and vacuumed our house as needed and had multiple open houses. Her strategy of when to list, when to take it off the market and when to put it back on the market was prescient.
Renate also provided expert advice on some needed remodeling— removal of wallpaper and painting, change of light fixtures, in selected rooms - and got her husband to do it for us at a very reasonable cost. The improvements provided a dramatic change in the impressions of the visitors and resulted in a very quick sale of our home at the asking price.

Renate is a Professional’s Professional and if she was to be described in one word, it would be “Caring”. She was always available and took the time to understand exactly what we wanted. This allowed us to limit both the sites that we had to consider online and the locations that we had to visit. Her knowledge of the local market allowed her to be a step ahead of all the other realtors. When the right opportunity came along for us, we were available to close the sale before the other realtors could even consider making a bid.
Renate’s communication skills are Outstanding and she is able to make friends easily. She helps in areas well beyond the scope of a realtor and is always thinking of your future needs. Thanks to her help, our physical relocation will be much easier.
