Alexis is a gem and a curly queen! Her expertise and knowledge go hand in hand. Not to mention the hair wash and scalp scrub + massage experience it doesn’t get any better than that. She takes her time to talk through vision with you from the start then does her magic and makes sure to style your hair so you walk out the door fresh. 10/10 always.

I came home to Jacksonville for my first vacation to see family after being stationed overseas for 3 years. My trip was super last minute and I really needed a haircut and stumbled upon Cortello after searching on Google. The front desk team was super helpful getting me booked in for a same-day appointment with Kay, patiently helping me figure out how to get my card on file when the online system gave me a hard time with my overseas address. As for the salon experience itself, I was incredibly impressed by how professional and thorough Kay was. I didn’t have a vision for how I wanted my hair to look, and she took her time, sat down to familiarize herself with my hair texture and listened attentively as I described my haircare routine and styling needs since I have to put my hair up in a bun for work most days. She made great product recommendations and checked in with me throughout the cut to ensure I was content with the results. I left the salon absolutely obsessed with my new hairstyle and as an added bonus, my boyfriend and parents love it too! Thank you for an incredible experience — I’ll definitely be back to see Kay and Cortello the next time I’m in town!

I liked the fact that before we started any procedures, Kay had me sit down and then she brought over another stool for her to sit on and we literally just talked... i talked about my hair history, what i hated from other salons, my hair concerns, literally everything and she just listened...this was so nice especially after terrible experiences at different salons😔

Bailey was AWESOME. Was super friendly, very thorough during the consultation to ensure she knew what it was that I needed, what I like and don’t like. Since coming from another stylist, she made sure to stay in line with how my hair has previously been done. She did an amazing job.. I walked away, loving my hair.
