We recently smelled propane gas from our tank. We called to report the problem, and a technician (Douglas) responded within an hour! He found that the regulator was leaking, replaced it immediately, and had us back to a normal operation within minutes. Not only was the problem identified and resolved quickly, but the company refilled the tank without charging us for the replacement gas because the loss of gas was an equipment breakage rather than caused by us. That to us is a fantastic response to a potentially serious problem and a reason we'll continue with Eastern Propane as our propane service provider. Great customer service!!

I was upset by Eastern propane for a while because the price per gallon kept creeping up regularly. I was ready to line up another vendor whose price per gallon was about 50 cents lower. I've been with Eastern for many years and really did not want to go through the hassle of swapping out the tanks in order to buy propane for the other guy so I called Eastern and the lady gave me a price close to the other guy. I really appreciated that. Then recently I called Eastern to report that the gauges on the tanks were not working. One gauge read 100 and the other was close to zero. When the technician came out to look at it he discovered that the tanks were about two years over the date when they should have been replaced. The bottom of the tanks were starting to rust out and the gauges were broken so he told me he was going to put in a ticket to replace them both. About a week later Eastern showed up, replaced the tanks, and filled them up at a price I can live with. So, after all that, I will stick with Eastern Propane.

Customer service wait time is low to zero. Reps are very knowledgeable and friendly. Deliveries and service are on time. One item I would address is adding a text message and/or email reminder for upcoming auto deliveries since in some cases locked gates may be a problem for some homes.
