From the first time I showed Derk the property, his knowledge and professionalism were obvious. Not satisfied with just seeing the property, Derk wanted to know my family's history as it related to the house and the neighborhood so he could better tell its story. He then used this information to showcase the home and present it both online and in person. His preparation with respect to comparable sales and his plan for listing and showing the property, I believe, maximized the value we received in the quick and relatively pain free sale of the property. Never more than a text or a phone call away, Derk was always available to answer any questions or help with any issue, even if it meant driving from the Northtowns to Buffalo on a moment's notice. I worked with Derk for roughly 6 months trying to find myself the perfect home within my budget. Which was very difficult in this market. When I became discouraged after awhile, Derk would always come back with a another house that fit exactly what I wanted. We finally closed on a beautiful home this past August. I am 24 years old, I would refer him for all age groups. We built a great professional relationship that later turned into a friendship. We were always on the same page with each other, which made the experience a lot less stressful. I can’t thank him enough for his time and dedication, will be referring to all friends and family who are in the market for a new home.

I had been watching the market for nearly a year prior to deciding it was time to seriously begin looking at homes for my wife and I. Our finances and family circumstances prevented us from buying anything over 125k. As such we knew our search for our dream home would not be an easy one. Because of our ages we didn't really want to get into the "handyman special" home. We don't mind the idea of maintaining our home but remodeling from the ground up wasn't for us. Well thanks to Derk Elsenhiemer, our Hunt Real Estate Agent, we found our dream home and did it for under 125k. Derk dealt with my impatience and at times somewhat hostile attitude. My wife and I were beginning to loose hope because the homes available in our price range were awful. They were either in a bad area or looked great in the pics and awful in person! And then dealing with seeing home marked "pending or under contract" in the listings! We lost several homes we really liked to someone who came in with better offers or paid cash for homes we were interested in". Derk kept reassuring us that the right home would come along and if we could just hang in there and let him do his magic the right house would come along. Long story short... Derk found us our dream home, made sure all T's were crossed and I's dotted! We couldn't have asked for a better agent or company to help us find and purchase or new home. We also chose to use Hunt Mortgage to handle our financing needs as recommended by Derk. Having it handled all under one roof was a blessing and a very smooth process! My wife and I highly recommend the Hunt team and more importantly the best agent "Derk Elsenhiemer"! You won't be disappointed.
