I was visiting from out of town and learned about BCycle from my friends who live in Santa Barbara. We absolutely loved this bike service for getting around the city. Also the people who were performing maintenance on the bikes also were helpful. The bikes seem very well maintained. 10 out of 10. No notes.

An easy transport option is readily available all over town without the need to own your own bike. It’s easy to access, fast, readily available and reduces the need to drive. We definitely drive less. I wish there were more stations further outside of the city center and the price was cheaper. It’s fairly expensive.

Convenience. I am a local retired person. I use the bikes for fun, to get to events and avoid parking issues, to meet friends for coffee, check out State Street and explore new neighborhoods. I have my own ebike but these bikes are always ready to go and I never have to worry about maintenance.

Please add a station closer to 601 E Micheltorena St. a ton of people live here bc of all the Cottage housing. I love BCycle and it is amazing and my favorite way to get around town. I’m a huge fan. Love it so much!! Would be cool if some of the stations charged the bikes just to make it easier for you guys. LOVE BCYCLE. ADD MORE STATIONS!!
