A mistake was made, as often happens because, humans are not infallible. My bike was kept an over-long time; much of the summer. Parts were ordered, and many hours were eventually spent addressing the issue that had rendered my bike unridable. That the repair was delayed by many weeks was on them. Once the work finally began, Ryan explained why it was taking so long. He was truthful and he was explicit. He said he would not charge me for a legitimately costly repair by way of taking responsibility. Based on how things work now, I fully expected to be charged anyway. When I finally picked up my virtually new 2015 bike, I didn’t feel right about not paying for the work and the parts. Ryan insisted that he would not take any money, and further, that I would be refunded the money I had already paid. Which I was. Dear Ryan, you are so rare as to be almost unbelievable. But I do believe in you, and I hope your clear vision never clouds. Thank you.

I will start with…We don’t even have Trek bikes. But we live downtown and need a bike shop that’s close. We dropped our bikes there for service and were so impressed by the staff’s customer service. I ended up having a tear in my tire and Ryan recommended a couple different tires that he felt would work best for my needs. I ended up coming back to buy the tires from Trek (even though they were a bit higher than online) just because he had given such great customer service and we wanted to support them locally. The entire staff was very polite, professional, and extremely knowledgeable.
