Wonderful teachers who embody the Montessori principles through their teaching and caregiving. The school also fosters a great sense of community through programming for the children and their parents. My child is really thriving at Montessori of Alameda, I’m so happy we chose this school.

Goldie and Angela have been extremely helpful and welcoming. The teaching assistants all seem lovely in my daughter’s classroom. And the updates are so fantastic. I hate being away from my girl but I absolutely treasure the photographs of all her activities during the day.

What I love most is seeing how our little ones begin to develop their independence from the moment they start walking. As both a mother and a teacher, I love witnessing how the school and their teachers help foster, from such an early age, one of the main foundations of Montessori education: INDEPENDENCE. ❤️

We have been at the school for 3 years and have such a wonderful experience. The teachers are wonderful and very committed to ensuring children are safe and loved. The administration is very helpful and communicative! We will be so sad to graduate to Kindergarten in the fall - we LOVE Montessori of Alameda!

My son enjoys going to school, and we love how his teachers greet him each morning. They communicate very well, which makes us feel connected and informed. We also love the Procare app because it gives us insight into what’s happening at school throughout the day. The photo updates are one of our favorite features.

I appreciate the recent focus on curriculum for the third-year students. However, I’m not sure how well individual teachers are activated. I like the new play structures and investment in the outdoor space.

The teachers are very engaged and really care about the children. There are a lot of activities for the babies, healthy snacks, outside time. And anytime there has been an incident we are promptly notified and it’s handled appropriately.

Instructors are wonderful. The creative curriculum and projects are very appreciated, as is the steady stream of updates and photos we get throughout the day. The staff are very attentive and it's clear they genuinely care about each kid.
