My child had a great week of camp! The staff are engaging and welcoming to all of the kids and are able to highlight the campers’ strengths. We will definitely be back for camp next summer!

Everything! From the parents: please suggest the campers to brush their teeth. Many of them have never been away from parents like this before and a gentle reminder would be VERY helpful :)

Our kids adore this camp! We already have 4 yrs under our belt and we plan on more in the future. It is all you'd like from your child's summer camp: unforgettable experience, life long memories, growing as an independent person, building friendships. The staff does amazing job. My kids like the facilities. They say the food is yummy. The activities offered are very diverse and give tons of opportunities for everyone to have fun! Our son had his b-day celebration there and he was thrilled. Our daughter can't wait to go back as CIT and junior counselor!

Overall, Everett had a really good experience for his first week-long camp stay. Unfortunately, his bunkmate experience was not good, and it will be a struggle to get him to sign up again, but he gave the camp activities a 10/10 rating and had a wonderful time outside of the bunk. It was a great life learning experience for him and I will always recommend Camp Kirkwood!

Hey awesome job to all and thank you for an awesome week of camp. Monroe absolutely loved it. She will definitely come back next Summer. A couple of observations from my point of view that i wanted to share. I was a little concerned about monroe being in the same clothes that she was in when i picked her up, as when i dropped her off. i was concerned that she did not get help finding fresh clothes everyday. she also mentioned not always getting enough to eat at meals. something about it being family style and the other cabin girls eating all the food. she is pretty shy and i worried that she wasnt being looked after during meals.

The boys had a great time and were very excited to be there. They loved the counselors and activities. Consider some additional food availability especially for the older teens. They sounded a little hungry.

You wore my kid slam out! He did things he had never done and enjoyed it all so much. I also went here as a child. To see it grow in such a positive way does my heart good. We will for sure be back.

My child attended the LIT program he learned a lot made new friends, and had great experiences. He’s still talking about and ready for next year so it was a definite success

My child had the best time again this year at the two night mini camp. He loved all the activities and said the food was good. He enjoyed meeting new friends and reported the counselors were very nice. This is our second time doing the mini two night camp and we are working our way up to the week-long overnight camp.

The bus transportation was so convenient! And both ladies on the bus were so kind and helpful to the kids and parents! Activities are well planned. Their day was full of fun adventures. My grandson had a blast and is already asking to go again next summer! I was very comfortable with the supervision and did not worry that he was safe. Prior to camp week, I received a phone call that not all of our profile was complete. They were very willing to assist in completion of that process. Overall, it was a great experience, and I confidently would recommend Camp Kirkwood to anyone.

The slime kickball was a highlight. LOBED the spirit week theme. Knowing the color of the cabin ahead of time really LOL the campers to prep for team spirit and I need to get help them feel like a bonded group from day one.. The other thing we really like about Kirkwood is the variety of activities. It can also be a totally different experience next year just by choosing a different major and minor. Loved the card game speed wasn't elective. It's great that basically everybody at Camp knows how to play the same game.

Both of my girls are loving it! They’re happy and well taken care of. And most of all- the amazing staff. Kind compassionate positive attitude. You can see they really care for all the children. I’m 5 states away and my mind is at ease that the kids are taken care of.
