The trainers at the Ann Arbor title boxing are exceptional people: kind, empathetic, and informed. They provide for our group with Parkinson's a supportive environment and respond with sensitivity to our every need. As a professional dancer and educator, I appreciate the structured approach to our hour together and the careful instruction. Bravo, all!!!!!
So easy to sign up after my first class.. the last two classes I have done have been so
Hands on even though you’re in a whole
Class with other individuals.. they make you feel like it’s one on one. I highly recommend signing up at the Ann Arbor location. My first class was with Bobby he was full of energy and so outgoing! I have a zero background with boxing and I really just enjoy it
I’ve been a member for over 10 years. I always wanted to learn how to box, but once I passed 50 I felt like the opportunity had passed me by. Then this club opened. It’s a great cardio and core workout that also builds full-body strength — your legs, core, back, shoulders, and arms are all engaged with every punch. It’s genuinely good for the mind too: the combination of high-intensity bag work, coordination, and focus has been shown to support brain health.
If you just want a solid cardio workout, that’s fine. But if you want to actually learn how to box, it’s a great opportunity. You can also take private lessons and do some supervised sparring. The classes are excellent, the trainers are fabulous and high-energy, and there’s good equipment if you just want to drop in or do some strength work after class.
The staff have been amazing. Everyone has been friendly, supportive, and created a space that feels safe for anyone to participate, no matter their race, gender, body size, etc. I've been truly blown away!
People are first and foremost what makes a place shine. The staff and trainers at Title Boxing Ann Arbor are not only knowledgeable but they are super friendly and they genuinely are there to help each individual get the most from their individual boxing or kickboxing class to reach their fitness goals. Boxing is both mental and physical. Each instructor led 45 minute class requires you to use your mind to follow a variety of punch or kick combinations called out with a variety of defensive moves in sequence. Boxing is also one of the few sports that engages every major muscle group in your body…legs, core, upper body and arms. The format is generally a 45 minute class beginning with a 7 minute instructor led warm-up to get the heart rate and muscles warmed up, followed by 30 minutes of boxing, which consist of eight rounds of boxing or kickboxing in three minute segments with one minute of “active rest” in between each round, followed by seven minutes of core, cool down and stretching. I’m 66 years old and find I find great benefit in the way my heavybag boxing workouts help me manage my physical conditioning, strength and weight management. The workout is great and so are the people at Title Boxing Ann Arbor!
