Want to be in a puddle of sweat at the end of 45 minutes? Want to be engaged physically and mentally, while all your other stresses fade away? Take these classes.
I like the classes and the times. The teachers are very positive and encouraging, and I've got a great workout and training from joining. Highly recommend.
Title boxing has been good for me because the workoug is short and efficient and there is a good focus on core, which is the most important part of the workout for me. Coaches are very friendly. And, I have not had any injuries while working out at Title, unlike my experience at my previious gym (Crossfit). Also, it is very helpful to me that I can sometimes put my membership on hold. The staff always makes that easy.
I think something needs to be done with sound system to make it easier to understand the coaches. Some are very hard to understand. Music should be lower and the needs to have less bass and much more treble in the voice amplifcation. Also, some of the music played in the gym has lyrics that really vulgar. I hate that, and at one point I was thinking about leaving the gym because it was so offensive. I know for a fact that I am not the only one who is bothered by this. If I was the owner of the gym I would a very clear and strict policy on this matter.
...I don't mean to complain. Thank you for asking my opinion. I'll be working out at the gym later today!
Great workout and knowledgeable, enthusiastic instructors who keep it entertaining and make you want to work. Equipment available for strength training is solid.
Improvements:
- Add a longer bar for doing wider lat pull downs and rows as this is missing.
- Enough of the house/dance music all the time. Play some hard rock once in while and actual songs rather than all the weird mixes (e.g. AC/DC should not be messed with - it’s criminal. If you play Thunderstruck, play Thunderstruck).
- Keep the speed bag in decent shape. It frequently seems to be broken.
