We absolutely love the CDC and so grateful to be a part of the J. We had tried two other preschools nearby and were unhappy with them. My boy used to cry or say "no school" but since starting at the CDC, he loves going to school and excitedly says "that's my school" when we pull up in the morning. He looks happy when we pick him up and the teachers are engaged and do no seem overwhelmed. We highly recommend the CDC and will enroll our 2 year old next year.

Mostly everything. I see very energetic kids coming into a facility where they mostly look like they want to be there. It’s not just a drop off my kid; they do fun things while learning various subjects. I’m watching my grandson going from a toddler to a little serious student. The excitement conversations we have after picking him up. I enjoy watching him telling me all about the Jewish holidays. Most of all I enjoy being able to volunteer by helping out the teachers. Most of the children go in somewhat tired looking but come out looking happy. I like working with the staff, who are always friendly and happy to see the children…. I can’t say much about the curriculum, because I am only a grandmother but just what I observe on days I drop off or pick up, it’s very positive feeling.

I’ve been a teacher at the CDC for the last 11 years and a parent for the last 2. You truly don’t see how amazing this place is until you’re able to look at it through your own child’s eyes. I am so incredibly lucky to work with such incredible teachers. They have truly made the CDC feel like home and I’m forever grateful for the memories we make everyday for all the kids.

Excellent teachers (It takes a lot of love to handle a room full of preschoolers.) Judaic influence. My granddaughter is happy there so that's really the measure of success.

Pictures/updates with coordinated enrichment classes doesn’t exist and would be a nice touch. we essentially have no supervision or updates when they go for any enrichment. Swim department also unorganized. I’m only writing these comments as we are very happy at the J but this could be improved!

The J CDC staff are terrific, the facilities are impressive and the whole institution is a valuable resource to the community. The CDC and The J is great for families who want an active lifestyle among a large community of diverse world views.
