My kid is progessing not only on his math but also on his self esteem.

My daughter normally doesn’t enjoy math, but she’s always happy to go to Mathnasium… thanks for making it a good experience!

Our son loves it here. He’s learning a lot

My daughter doesn't love math class, but she is always willing to come and work on her skills at Mathnasium, so I call that a win!

Math made our son extremely anxious and avoidant, however after attending Mathnasium, he feels much more comfortable and actually seems excited to go to Mathnasium! I wish we had Mathnasium when I was kid so maybe I would have a better relationship with math :)

Great experience for my kid, with caring teachers and lots of good prizes. Maybe there could be a yearly or mid yearly meeting with parents to go over those progress reports and to discuss them in person.

The Albany-Berkeley center has math coaches who keep kids engaged. The reward system keeps kids motivated and supports them working towards productive goals. This center is highly responsive to clients who have scheduling inquiries, including facilitating inquiries about adding sessions for the summer. The center director worked closely with me to reschedule when my child had serious medical events. In total, this center promotes helping students and families find the time for math enrichment.

Easy to book appointments and great staff

We've had an excellent experience with Albany Mathnasium! The staff are smart, helpful, and excellent communicators. My son's math skills, as well as his understanding of math concepts, have greatly improved in the years he's been attending this learning center. The incentive system to motivate the kids is really great too. My son always leaves the center excited to try for more achievements and prizes. Highly recommend!

A really good experience. They keep you in the loop about what’s going on and what your child is accomplishing. If you arrived late, they would let you make up that time, even when they didn’t have to. If they thought you had scheduled an appointment by mistake, they would reach out to make sure you were aware. Overall, we were really happy with them. With summer coming and schedule changes, we had to put our subscription on hold, but we’ll be back because their prices are very affordable, and they are very professional and very knowledgeable.

My daughter is excited to go to math tutoring. They make it very fun and she enjoys spending time there, which makes me so happy. And she’s learning!

Love the flexibility, and ease of booking. And, my kid actually likes going! The reward system is very motivating for her, she likes the teachers and has seen a noticeable improvement in both skill and confidence within a few weeks of starting.

Our son has been coming to Mathnasium in Albany for over a year. He feels more confident with his math skills and is finally catching up with his grade level. The staff are amazing. Jesse, the director, is responsive and accommodating. I am so happy that we chose Mathnasium in Albany to help our kid strengthen his math skills. I highly recommend them.

Great communication about my child’s progress from the center.

Teachers are great and atmosphere is very positive and supportive. My son loves going to Mathnesium.

Great program! We'll organized and friendly Tram that helped recognize our math hurdles and quickly made a plan to support these areas. Thank you!

My daughter has really enjoyed her experience at Mathnasium and is feeling more confident in her math class. She also has more stamina to take on tougher problems because she knows she can solve it with some time and effort.

Andre and his team have been great at helping us understand Berkeley High School's math program and prearing our kids. Thank you Andre!

My kids have truly benefited from Mathnasium in a huge way. By the end of their school years last year, both of them had very high marks according to California standards. Yet, what I appreciate about Mathnasium is that the benchmark is based mostly on international standards. Given the cuts in public education, the lack of resources to schools and teachers and the large classrooms, let's face it -- students are not being served to compete as mathematicians. We believe that math is not just critical to doing well at math. Math is integral to logic, critical thinking and analysis, problem solving and understanding symmetry and elegance. The teachers at Mathnasium have been very generous with their support. The staff is highly skilled. And the incentives for achievement are good, although we'd suggest maybe a little les sugar on the rewards!
