We, as carers/guardians, were impressed by the sensitive approach of the tutors/teachers at Mathnasium and believe our child (who has a problem in understanding Maths) was helped by the systematic Building Blocks system at Mathnasium. They refused to move on until the child understood each stage fully. This style of teaching is not realistic in the usual classroom. We believe the time spent at Mathnasium was not wasted.
My daughter has gone from disliking maths and thinking she isn’t capable to confidently going into her GCSE exams. I highly recommend Ping and the team, they really care and have transformed my daughter’s abilities. Thank you so much
Our Grandchild has been attending Mathnasium North Oxford since last April '25 and responds well to the individually tailored lessons. She no longer feels panicked and stressed by Maths and shows some enthusiasm for the subject. She will be taking GCSE's this Summer. We are hopeful that she will have moved from zero to at least a pass.
Thank you Mathnasium North Oxford.
The structured approach to targeting skills gaps combined with the system of earning stars and cards to exchange for rewards keeps my daughter motivated to attend. Unlike any other extra tuition we've tried, she's actually happy to attend and complete the worksheets. Thanks so much.
The mathnasium has allowed my son to catch up and enjoy maths. He finds it comforting seeing other children around him practising their maths skills. The teachers are great and the system is like no other. I can only recommend it.
When we first applied to Mathnasium, my son was going through a period where his Mathematics level had dropped quite significantly. We have now been attending the programme for approximately 11 months, and we started primarily by filling in the gaps in his knowledge, which has been extremely beneficial in building a strong foundation which allowed him up to the Higher class at school .
We are currently preparing for GCSEs and are in Year 10. Mathnasium offered to create a tailored plan specifically for him, outlining the most proactive way for him to prepare. I believe this approach will be particularly helpful in ensuring that he stays on track and continues to make steady progress. Thank you !
Kind regards,

Our Grandchild is no longer 'mathsphobic' and, although she has been going to Mathnasium for only six months we are all optimistic about the outcome of her GCSE exam next year. The patience and humour of the staff is very effective in engaging a nervous learner. Thank you Oxford Team.
As a family, we’ve been incredibly impressed by the Mathnasium teaching system and the entire team at North Oxford. Our children were struggling with maths and losing enthusiasm for the subject last year. But after just six months of regular attendance, their attitude has been completely transformed — and their confidence and ability are now really starting to shine. Much of Mathnasium’s success seems to lie in making the sessions both fun and engaging, while still carefully identifying and targeting each student’s weak spots.
Matthew enjoys the maths sessions and doesn't need persuading to attend (which is a good sign!). He seems confident in the maths he has learned. Hopefully that will be reflected in his summer exams.
Emma is really enjoying her classes there - especially the star/card system which I think is great! I'd love to know if she's improving her problem-solving ability though, as that's where she really needs help. Many thanks, Lucy
