After riding the Great Alleghaney Passage rail trail on my Trek Checkpoint with drop bars, I decided to put some straight, slightly swept back bars on it for more comfort and sitting straighter. We took the bars we bought in to our go-to guys at the San Antonio South Trek store to swap out since I also had to swap brake and shift levers, etc. Mechanic, Jake, had the bike fixed up so fast and said he’d totally enjoyed the project. Can’t ask for more than folks who love to see a special project coming! All of the guys in the shop were such a pleasure to chat with again and we left with big smiles on our faces, as usual. We always feel so welcome there!

The interaction of dropping off a bike for service and then the pickup are pretty painless. A lot of work was done to the bike including a Level 2 tune-up. This can be pretty pricey, but considering the performance of the end result its a No-Brainer. The staff is also technically competent and quite helpful.

The guys I had the pleasure of dealing with were awesome! Super friendly, super helpful and answered all my questions. I will definitely be taking my bike back whenever it needs anything done! Had a great experience taking my bike there!
