Amazing shop! My son had a race nearby Sunday morning and his dropper post broke during the pre-ride the night before. We called Trek Gig Harbor and asked if there was any chance they could take a look. They said if we could get there anytime before they closed they would do there best. We showed up and they were expecting us and ready with the rack right out front. He proceeded to fully remove the post, pulled the cable and housing out, threw in a brand new cable and housing in less than 15 minutes all while showing us how to do it in the future. We were in and out in less than 20 minutes. Super friendly service, great atmosphere with an awesome selection of bikes and gear. They also sponsor and lead local group rides multiple days a week and post trail conditions from the top spots all over the Puget Sound. I can't reccomend this place enough.

The staff is always welcoming the moment you walk through the door. They greet you, point you toward what you’re looking for, and never try to oversell anything. The service technicians are extremely knowledgeable and easy to talk with, and I appreciate that they’re available to discuss service questions even while they’re wrenching on bikes right there on the floor. While Trek is a major industry leader, the employees here are clearly rooted in the local community. The shop feels like a true neighborhood bike shop rather than a corporate machine, and that sense of connection really comes through. The weekly rides the shop puts on add even more to that community feel — relaxed, friendly, and full of the kind of garage‑talk camaraderie that makes cycling fun. If there’s one thing I’d like to see, it’s a bit more stock in mountain bikes and apparel. I understand the limitations of the available floor space, but I still check the shop first before going online because I value the experience and the people here.
