Overall, I like Chuck and Don's Chanhassen. They carry the type of dog food I feed my dog; it's kind of expensive! I also have my dog groomed there. I was a little disappointed at her last grooming appointment. The groomer's name is Max. When we got there, she came out and didn't greet us or say anything. I finally told her what my dog has done during her visit. My dog is a short haired labrador retriever that doesn't need any grooming other than bath brush nails and ears. It usually takes an hour and a half. I asked when she'd be done, she said she'd text me.
Two hours went by and finally went there to see what's up. The person at the front desk said she'd check. She said the groomer was just finishing up. She brings her out of the back room puts her on the table and literally ran the brush over her 3 or 4 times. Typically, they brush her for at least half an hour/45 minutes because she has thick fur with an undercoat.
She brings her out and I looked at her nails she hardly trimmed them. I asked her if she trimmed her nails, she said in snotty reply that's all she could do.
I understand it's hard to find people to fill jobs, but maybe get them some training and some supervision
Friendly, knowledgeable staff, well stocked large variety of relevant products. We adopted a cat there as well last year...so a part of our family came from there as well!
