great selection, friendly staff. They recycle the open farms bags, which most do not. Biggest drawback for me is the parking, but if you come first thing in the morning, parking is available in front of store.
Lovely store with everything one might need. Friendly atmosphere, conveniently located. And the staff are always wonderful: helpful, resourceful, friendly, knowledgeable.
There is one thing that matters most about going into a store to buy dog food with my dog, and that's that that the folks behind the counter seem like they are welcoming of my dog. A couple out of the last the last several times I have been in that hasn't been the case, and the folks behind the counter seem kind of irritated that my dog is excited to go behind the counter to get a treat the way she has dozens of times before. She's been met with excitement and interest doing just that many times before, and I don't think it's fair to ask her to read the room, what with her not having a prefrontal cortex and all. So maybe it falls on the human end of that interaction: if you're irritated by dogs excited about getting treats, even some of the time, go work somewhere else. You might consider looking at who's working behind the counter and offer some gentle encouragement to go elsewhere as needed. (and just to be clear, I have had lots of positive experiences with the folks working the counter at your store).
Chuck and Don's has the most supportive and knowledgable sales assistants!!! They always take the time to listen and really help out with supportive suggestions. My dog also gives a 10 as a thank you!
I love the staff, I love the amount of products you guys have and I really really love the rewards system. I switched to Chuck and Don’s specifically for the rewards system.
