Both my kids have been to Spectrum Montessori and I am fully satisfied with the care and training by the school to the infants and toddlers. My kids reached their milestones on time and showed significant growth in communication and collaboration with other kids and adults.

I have two boys. The older one attended this school for 4 years and just graduated, and the younger one just started. We love this school and its teachers! As a dual-working family, having a place outside home where our kids feel safe and can grow and learn is essential to us. Spectrum Montessori Portola Springs meets all of those needs, and both of my boys love the school. My older son especially loves his teachers and friends here, and he wants to visit the school often. We love Ms. Sarah, who had a very positive impact on my older son, both academically and socially! Ms. Michelle and Ms. Liz are so responsible, and I feel I can always trust them. Ms. Sayuri, Ms. Anahi, and all the after-school care teachers are so warm and caring! Besides the caring teachers, the school is nice and clean, and there are lots of enrichment class parents can choose.

We’ve had such a positive experience at Spectrum Montessori. The teachers and staff are always warm, welcoming, and genuinely caring toward the children. A special thank you to Ms. Michelle, who does such a wonderful job coordinating everything and making families feel welcome. Ms. Liz and Ms. Michelle greet the children so cheerfully every day, remembers their names, and always brings such a warm and positive energy to the school. We’re also very grateful to Ms. Claudia and Ms. Dhalia, who took wonderful care of my son in the Toddler class and helped him successfully complete potty training. He has now transitioned to Ms. Sarah’s class, and the transition has been incredibly smooth. He settled in so naturally, even napping without any tears from the beginning. He really enjoys his new class, and we’ve also seen great progress in his routines and behavior. Thank you Ms. Sarah and Ms. Sayuri! We also really like the school’s well-balanced curriculum and the variety of fun activities, especially during the summer. The children always seem happy and engaged. The open-door policy is another thing we really appreciate—it gives us great peace of mind knowing we can come in and see how our child is doing. We’re very happy to see how much our son enjoys school and how much he has grown here!

I’m so impressed by how much my child is learning in Ms Mahnaz’s class. She’s absolutely wonderful. The staff is very caring and friendly. The school is well kept. The only thing I wish would change is all the days school is closed throughout the year. I understand they have the same schedule as IUSD but the monthly tuition is not discounted when school is closed for days at a time, which means we have to find other ways to find child care as working parents.

Wonderful caring teachers and staff - both of my kids were in Ms. Melanie’s class as toddlers and it was truly a blessing for our kids to have her as a teacher at such a critical time in their development and to go to this school. Their learning / development skyrocketed after attending this school and they’ve made so many friends/ memories. My son graduated from the toddler program and is in Primary now in Ms. Bianca’s class and he has so much fun he asks to go to school even on the weekends. They love all the teachers and assistant teachers here, they are the best!

My daughter, who is in a toddler class, loves going to school. Every morning she hurries me to get ready to go to school. Facility is super clean and has a very nice outdoor space as well. Everyone is welcoming and kind. I would like to keep her there as long as she can.

Teachers and administrators consistently show kindness, and create a very warm, encouraging environment that fosters learning and growth. Our child has shown significant development since joining the toddler program. We also appreciate the constant communication with the staff about classroom specific topics or school-wide activities. We are confident that our child enjoys and feels safe going to school daily.

Teachers and administration really care about the students. It really feel like a family environment. The facilities are outstanding - new and well maintained. The outdoor area is unparalleled.
