We've been with varying locations of Columbia Academy from the past 4 years. In all the years we've had our child there, we've had wonderful teachers and local administration. Most recently, we attended CA King's Contrivance Preschool for school age before care. Ms. Kayon and Ms. Daijah have been very responsive and active administrators despite massive changes in the corporate environment. We originally had Ms. Trina who deeply loved and cared for the children. After she moved on, we were blessed to be placed with Ms. Julie. She increased the activities for the children ten fold, mostly using her own funds, even though she only had them a couple hours each day before school. She made a point to understand how each child ticks to ensure they were sent off to school in the best of spirits. The only reason I removed a star was because of corporate. Prices were increased on top of already expensive care, for a very short period of time each day. It became unsustainable and we had the difficult decision to make a change. And, it is my understanding, that these extra fees do not filter down to the teachers. There are other political issues within corporate that I won't include in this review. If it wasn't for these changes, we would have continued with CA until we no longer needed before care. Many thanks to Ms. Julie, Ms, Kayon, and Ms. Daijah for helping create a solid environment after some rocky changes.

Ever since Ashley took over as Director, teacher turnover slowed down and our kids have had more consistent teachers. We have appreciated how Columbia academy has helped so much with our kids’ development. Potty training has been going so much easier than we anticipated thanks to their help.
