Our 10 yr old has only been going to Mathnasium for about 6 weeks but we've already seen a huge improvement in attitude to learning and concentration. He loves going and really applies himself. Everyone is easy to talk to and he has felt comfortable from the very beginning.

My son loves it. From really disliking maths, it is now one of his best subjects.. the confidence he has gained from attending mathanasium is incredible. He always comes away from each session positive and happy knowing he has achieved something. The staff are Excellent and really approachable and easy to talk to and help. Definitely a 10 out of 10!!

My son has progressed well with his learning and become confident in Maths. It’s great to hear him share what he has learned and put into practice. The tutors have all been very helpful. Edward and other senior staff are very friendly and approachable. They answer all questions, give advice and very kind to my young daughter. She loves going in and chatting to them which is appreciated

My son really enjoys this place. He never wants to skip a class and always leaves in a good mood. It’s still too early to say whether there has been any improvement in his maths at school, but only time will tell.

My daughter had very little confidence in Maths, she feared it. Since going to Mathnasium (September 2025) her confidence has grown immensely. She is about to sit her SATs and I have absolutely no worries that she will do well, but most importantly she has the confidence to ask for help. I would thoroughly recommend Mathnasium, they make Maths fun. I just wish they were around when I were younger.

Edward and the team have been so understanding and patient with our home educated son. From Feb 2026 our son has gone from a Grade 4 GCSE to predicted grade 7. He loves going to Mathnasium and I think he will miss it once the exams are over!

My daughter (age 7) has been going to Mathnasium on a regular basis for 7 months. Her confidence in Maths continues to grow exponentially, and the gaps identified during the original assessment have been filled. Thank you to the Mangers and Tutors for their continuous hard work, and dedication to the individual needs of each student.

Edward, Tio and the whole team at St Albans Mathnasium are wonderful and my 11y daughter who has started in November 2025 loves coming to see and learn with them three times a week.

A super friendly staff team, really personable. Ed is a superstar. My son usually can't sit down for more than ten minutes and yet actively asks to go each day! That is a miracle!
