Mathnasium has a fantastic method that truly works! Both of my kids followed the program as designed, without skipping any concepts, and excelled in math, progressing into Algebra and ultimately attending a top Philadelphia high school. Mathnasium has a proven approach, and we trusted the process. By allowing the instructors to do what they do best and following their recommended learning plans, we saw the results. My daughter started at Mathnasium nine months ago, and she has attended consistently, including through the summer. The biggest change we've seen goes beyond her math skills, though those have improved a lot. She has become much more confident, both in math and in herself. What stands out most is that she now understands she can learn something hard if she puts in the time. That mindset has carried over into how she approaches schoolwork in general. When she hits a difficult problem, she no longer assumes she "isn't a math person." She works through it, because she has seen that effort pays off. The tutors have been patient and encouraging, and they've clearly focused on building her understanding rather than just getting her through assignments. Continuing through the summer helped her keep her momentum and start the school year feeling prepared instead of anxious.

The team is wonderfully supportive, welcoming, and helpful, and the space is always clean and organized. I love that they don't just focus on improving grades—they also teach essential life skills, like applying basic math to everyday situations like grocery shopping

My daughter absolutely loves Mathnasium. It has made such a huge difference in her math skills, but even more importantly, in her confidence. My kids have been attending Mathnasium for the past 3 years. Shamsa is amazing! She takes the time to understand each student's needs and to customize the learning plans to fit what is going to help get to the next level. It's been very helpful to have a mix of PKs and tutoring to prep for tests/ test corrections. The SAT course helped my daughter increase 150 points.

Mathnasium has impressed us from Day 1, and we are loyal customers. Both of our children have not only increased their proficiency but also developed more confidence in their abilities and gusto for math. This has a lot to do with fun, enriching environment at the center. Our kids can't wait to go to each session!

Mathnasium's curriculum and methods seemed right on to me. I felt my daughter got a lot out of her time at Mathnasium. I like that calculators are not allowed, that work is done by hand. My daughter liked the instructors. The director, Shamsa, is smart and I like her approach- that the foundation skills of math must be built before moving on to higher level skills. My daughter benefitted from getting a stronger, more rigorous foundation.

Center City Mathnasium is great. All the instructors are welcoming and knowledgeable. Shamsa the director is easy to talk to and super helpful. We don’t want to leave, but we need help in other areas of academia not just math. I will recommend Mathnasium to all my friends and family.

My daughter loves mathnasium! The center is very welcoming and exciting for children. It does not look like your average tutoring center, it’s very welcoming to kids with prizes and treats and activities to take breaks if needed. My daughter always wants to go to learn math. She has gained confidence in learning math due to being a student at mathnasium. The center hosts fun events that incorporate learning math and makes math fun. I am so happy I found this center.
