I would absolutely recommend the Gardner School. From the first interaction of us inquiring about the school to our son’s first several weeks of school, everyone had been so kind and caring. From the beginning, they were very accommodating and answered our endless questions. Before our son started, a meet and greet with his wonderful teacher Ms. Elisa was set up. This was so helpful especially to get our son a bit more comfortable for his first day, as it was our son’s first time in a classroom environment. From there, he has been doing so well. Ms Elisa and Ms Gloria have been so patient and supportive and are why our son is adapting well. We can tell he feels comfortable with them and he is always excited to tell us about his day. Thank you TGS for helping us through this transition!

Our daughter LOVES TGS and so do we! She started in the infant room and has moved up to toddlers now. We continue to be so amazed by how much she’s learned! She is always so excited to see her teachers and classmates! And Keishla and Shanti are so kind and helpful! 10/10 recommend!!!

We love the staff, facility and curriculum at TGS Lincoln Park. The staff is so friendly and it is clear our children have a great relationship with so many of them, even those that are not their teachers. Shanti is an incredible school director - she has fantastic communication, leadership and a clear passion for making it a great place for kids to be everyday. The facility is always clean, organized and easy to access, which makes everything easier. The curriculum from infants through twos (where we are now) has been perfect for our children's development and keeps them engaged/excited while learning.

We love the current leadership, Shanti and Keishla are truly a dream team. The culture feels so much better than it did a year ago, and everything seems to be running really smoothly. We’ve also had such positive experiences with the teachers. We’ve been lucky enough to have Krishna for two years in a row, and she is just wonderful — always such a calm, steady presence with the kids. We’ve also been very happy with our infant teachers, Iesha and Crystal. No complaints at all right now, everything has been great!

The staff are very kind, understanding and caring. The rooms are very clean. They provide updates of how the kids are doing throughout the day. They have an affordable drop in option.

I continue to be so impressed by our teachers. This is our second year with Krishna, and she’s truly wonderful — caring, smart, and such a great teacher. The school is lucky to have her. I’m also very happy with our infant teachers, Iesha and Crystal — it’s been great to have consistency, and our daughter is thriving. I’m relieved and excited to see Shanti back as Executive Director. It’s felt like a revolving door the past few years, but things already seem to be running smoothly under her leadership. It’s clear she genuinely cares about both the teachers and families — the school already feels more grounded and connected with her back. I’m also glad to see the addition of an Assistant Director, especially with someone internal and so deserving (we love Keishla!). My only hope is that Krishna continues to get the support she needs to keep the pre-K class running as smoothly as it does today.

We are devastated to be leaving the Gardner School as we move to the suburbs. This place has been like family to us and both of our boys over the past several years. It is such a wonderful community with deeply invested teachers who have made a lasting impression on our family. We were so lucky to have our kids attend Gardner from 4 months thru to the 2's classroom. Our kids are known to what feels like every single member of the staff - even teachers of other classrooms know their names and their personalities. I not only had piece of mind sending our kids to school everyday knowing they were safe and happy, but excited for them as they raced to see their teachers and friends. They are constantly learning and coming up with new curriculums that have blown us away. Thank you for everything!!
