I am old (83) with significant arthritis and a badly torn rotator cuff. I am quite active …walking and carrying out household and family activities. I wish to remain as functional as possible. My expert physical therapist treats my musculoskeletal problems using whatever modalities are most appropriate and supervises an individualized session in the gym, often on the reformer, weekly. It is gratifying to have a therapist who has an understanding of geriatric patients. I work to maintain (and sometimes even manage to improve) muscle strength and muscle mass, flexibility and balance. I learn to work around injuries to carry out activities of daily life.
From start to finish it was an excellent experience for me. I'm having physio at another Ten location and needed shockwave therapy as part of the overall rehab plan. I was able to get evening appointments in advance without any issues, the physio that did the shockwave Nikki, was amazing and has worked wonders on my Achilles, alongside Amy's overall plan. The receptionist was always super welcoming and the environment overall felt extremely welcoming and supportive. I can't recommend them highly enough!
I am an 83 year old woman with an old complete tear of the L rotator cuff and significant arthritis. I have been receiving physical therapy and an individually designed exercise program at TEN for over 3 years. My muscle strength and range of motion in the L shoulder is comparable to that of younger individuals who had successful surgical repair. My therapy helps me to maintain function.
Friendly atmosphere and staff from reception onwards.
Specialist physios who really know their stuff and listen to clients and work with them, tailoring treatment to their individual needs and abilities.
I like the trainers, who are very professional, appropriately challenging in terms of our fitness, take a lot of care and make the sessions a lot of fun. Esp Sidney
Ilias is an excellent physio and gives good advice beaded on his experience in the field. He has helped my daughter considerably on her post scoliosis surgery journey.
