My son has attended The Gardner School of Dedham for over a year now, and we’ve had a wonderful experience, largely because of Anxhela’s incredible leadership. The school has experienced a great deal of change over the past year, and Anxhela has handled it with honesty, compassion, and an exceptional work ethic. During so much transition, I have especially valued the consistency and stability she provides. Having her remain as a trusted and familiar leader at the school has been incredibly reassuring to our family. Her communication is always clear, consistent, and transparent, even during challenging or uncertain times. As a parent, having a strong leader in an early education school is valuable and hard to come by as we've had challenges at a school prior to getting our son into the Gardner School.
Anxhela’s dedication was especially evident when she was on vacation during one of the busiest times of the year. Although I had expected the newly added administrators to handle more of the communication in her absence, Anxhela continued to stay actively involved by sending updates and ensuring families remained informed, even during her personal time. This is just one example of how consistently she goes above and beyond for the school and its families.
As a mother of two young children herself, the time and energy Anxhela devotes to the school is remarkable. She is almost always present at drop-off or pick-up, and her genuine compassion for the children is evident in everything she does. The longtime teachers clearly value and respect her, which speaks volumes about her leadership. We are incredibly grateful that she has remained such a strong and steady presence throughout all the changes, and we feel fortunate to have someone so dedicated, hardworking, and caring looking after our son and the entire school community.
We couldn't be happier with our experience at The Gardner School of Dedham! As a parent, nothing is more important than knowing your child is safe, loved, and well cared for, and that's exactly how we feel every day when we drop off our toddler.
The teachers are incredibly attentive, nurturing, and genuinely invested in each child's well-being and development. They take the time to get to know the children individually and consistently go above and beyond to make them feel comfortable, supported, and engaged.
One thing that stands out is how welcoming the entire staff is. Not only do my child's teachers greet them warmly each day, but teachers from other classrooms know their name and say hello as well. It creates such a strong sense of community and makes our child feel recognized and valued throughout the school.
The current director Anxhela Ramanjaku is absolutely amazing. She is caring, approachable, and deeply committed to creating a positive experience for both children and families. Her leadership is evident in every aspect of the program, from the quality of care to the friendly and supportive atmosphere.
The space itself is bright, clean, safe, and thoughtfully designed for young children. It's a wonderful environment where toddlers can learn, explore, and thrive.
We are so grateful to have found a place where our daughter is excited to go each day and where we have complete peace of mind as parents. I would wholeheartedly recommend this daycare to any family looking for exceptional care and an outstanding early childhood experience. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Our first few weeks at Gardner have been wonderful. Cece’s teachers have embraced her and already gotten her comfortable in her new surroundings. We are so grateful!
I feel like my son is in good hands here. His teachers have been great and I love the warm welcome he receives. Communication is prompt and plenty of notice is given for events and closures. Any billing issues/questions I have had have been handled effectively. He eats healthy food. He seems happy here. His items are never lost. We get plenty of art and pictures which mean a lot when you can’t be a stay at home mom. He has been sent home a few times for illness - taking a day off and getting a doctors note can be struggle when you work full time but I completely understand it is to keep the other kids and teachers safe and healthy. The school was very willing to enroll our other son when his child care elsewhere almost fell through. I really like The Gardner School. I was hesitant to change from our last day care and I’m so glad I did.
I love all the fascination teachers and how much they care for my son. They are celebrate his success, get excited to see him, sad when he leaves and are so supportive of him. That makes a working mama’s heart so happy! I love the food program. It is 100% so convenient to not worry about packing food everyday, especially for busy parents.
The school is very organized in a way that makes children feel secure and provides structure that they understand and look for. The classrooms are consistent and the teachers and leadership have accountability. The school has many different ways that learning takes place and switches from large groups to small groups which helps the kids adjust and learn how to be themselves and work together in different settings. The facility itself is safe and clean.
We’ve had such a wonderful experience with this daycare, and I can confidently give it a 5-star review.
My 3 year old is not only happy going each day, but he is truly thriving. He’s already being introduced to early writing skills and is excelling far beyond what I expected at this age. It’s clear there’s a thoughtful, structured curriculum in place that balances learning with play in a way that keeps him engaged and excited.
The facility is always clean, organized, and well cared for, which gives me peace of mind as a parent. Even more important to me, it feels genuinely safe. My son trusts his teachers, talks about them at home, and looks forward to seeing them every day. That kind of bond is something you can’t fake.
Teacher retention is also excellent, which says a lot about the environment the staff work in and the consistency the children benefit from. The caregivers are attentive, warm, and clearly invested in each child’s development.
Communication with parents is strong and reliable. I always feel informed about my child’s progress, activities, and any updates throughout the day. They also do a great job of keeping families involved and connected to what’s happening in the classroom.
Overall, this daycare goes beyond basic childcare. They focus on early education, emotional security, and social development in a way that feels intentional and well executed. I highly recommend them to any parent looking for a place where their child will be cared for, supported, and encouraged to grow.
My son and I have had such a wonderful experience at this daycare. There are many great aspects to the layout and decor of the space, as well as the safety features implemented, activities, curriculum, and, most importantly, the kind staff! We are grateful and truly love the Gardner School. The teachers and staff are so friendly, helpful, and take the care and safety of the children at their heart center. You can truly see it each day. Thank you TGS!
We love the teachers, the programming, the facilities, and the directors. The staff are very well trained and have great control of the classrooms. Really enjoy the seasonal themes and opportunities to get parents engaged in classrooms
New school, kids are not in one room all day, different activities. More diversity than where I live which is great for my kids. Pricing is appropriate for what TGS is.
We have been really happy with the staff and their interactions with our children. At our last daycare the staff was disengaged and often on their phones or simply out of the room.
The director takes the job seriously and is dedicated.
The building is well lit, with lots of natural light and it’s clean.
