I enjoy Core Power Lodo because of the location and the exceptional teachers. I recently took a class with Erika, and it was awesome. Her flow, her cadence, intensity, and modifications were perfect for me. I wish she taught more classes there. Morgan, Lara, Joe, Britta, Star, Alicia, and Diana (and others) are wonderful guides. I truly enjoy and appreciate them ALL. I'm concerned about the noticeable decrease in classes offered, particularly midday, and the rate at which classes are cancelled at LoDo. I reached out to corporate about the closing of the second room and the decrease in classes offered, and although polite, the response was flat. I am a regular student at this studio and know of others who would have been willing to serve on a focus group as changes are being considered, yet that fell on deaf ears. I think the location, probably due to parking, is not profitable, and perhaps no longer a priority. I would think some creative options could be considered if anyone would listen. Regardless, LoDo is my home studio, and I'll continue to practice at this location and benefit from the amazing teachers who show up for the love of yoga! The studio is clean, has lockers, showers, and a decent retail area.
I've completed several surveys and consistently shared how pleased I am to be able to attend this practice and this particular studio. I'm not a "typical" student, whatever typical means. I'm a heavier, older (67-year-old) gal with a knee replacement who enjoys the support and safety I feel from ALL the instructors. Regardless of the intensity, I'm able to modify and make the yoga practice work for me.
The incredible yoga teachers. Each one brings something special to class, be it the messaging to settle into practice or the individual flows they prepare. In particular, Morgan is one teacher that meets my schedule and I always enjoy. Laura, Joseph, really, ALL the teachers are great and I know that whatever class I'm able to take, a competent yoga teacher will guide the way.
I'm still sore from Gabby's CSX class 3 days later! I loved the 1Direction theme - it empowered me to lift heavy while I was singing along. Super fun and the super sets were challenging.
