I rented a road bike from 2nd Ave Sports for an event I was participating in local to them. I was highly impressed at the quality of the bike (Trek Madone) and the rental rate. Great bike at a great value for a solid day of riding. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable and made the pickup and drop off process super quick and easy.

Great bike service, that's been consistent over the years. Not always the cheapest but they stand behind what they sell and service. Many employees and bike mechanics have worked there for YEARS! Thats how you can tell its run by good people who take care of their people. A Durango store thats been around for a long while. I've shopped around but keep coming back here. Highly recommend!

Things were great-super easy check out and check in experience, bike was awesome and well maintained. Super chill and helpful staff. A couple random thoughts that I think were very specific to my rental (4 days of Colorado trail from Telluride to Hermosa Creek)-throwing some chain lube in the repair kit would make things less cronchy on the later days. Also the single track stuff on Hermosa/Colorado trail is pretty narrow-a lot of my group struggled with this on their own bikes, but prioritizing narrow pedals and maybeeee even shorter cranks would result in my toes being a lot happier ha.

I love your bike mechanics. They are fantastic. They are always helpful at answering my questions and so knowledgeable. They aren't pushy or condescending like some other bike shops. I always bring my bikes there if work needs to be done. Thanks for being a great part of our community.
