This was my first time doing a gentle yoga class that had chairs. I must admit, I was a little skeptical when I seen the chairs, thinking "how can you do yoga with chairs?"
I loved it! The chairs really gave me a better chance to dig into poses deeper. The core part was fun & challenging. And! I loved Darsi! She had great energy & just made me smile all the way through class.
Can't wait to come back!
I LOVE going to YOD. There's nothing like yoga mixed with a high intensity work out. Kelli B is super motivating, helpful and her music is GREAT! If you want a good workout, YOD is a perfect way to mix it up with hot yoga!
Peyton has the most personal approach. You can see in her body language and facial expressions that she wants 100% of students to be successful. She truly cares. She isn't just running us through our poses like some others do. She stops and demonstrates frequently and uses encouraging language.
I love everything about 502 power yoga!! I am trying to go to all the different classes and meet all the teachers and so far I love them all. Everyone is so welcoming and they all make an effort to get to know me and help me deeper my practice. I have been to classes led by Cat, Mimi, Tina, Melody, Sarah, Susie, Stephanie, Peyton, Hannah, Kelli, Mellisa, Kelly and Jamie. They have all been amazing and I'm so glad I'm apart of the yogi community:)
i love your classes! i did the 40/40 deal, and have recommended so many friends. I'm thinking about doing the 80/month deal for students--always feel SO much better mentally and physically after class, SUCH a difference.
All of the 502PY instructors are wonderful in their own way. I enjoy the humor, acceptance of what is (for now), encouragement, and genuineness of the teachers. I look forward to every class and am always glad I took the time away from work, school, etc as I am better at facing everything after a sweaty hour on my mat. When I absolutely can't make it to class, I enjoy the podcasts.
Several of the instructors are good, but Zack is by far my favorite. His classes are never the same. His instruction is always encouraging and positive, pushing students to go farther. His positive energy and personality are such a breath of fresh air. I always leave his classes feeling I got a good workout and also feeling energized physically and revived mentally.
