I love several things: first, I love no class times. I can drop in and it is not stressful to try to make a class time. Second, I love the 30 minute format. I can do anything for 30 min. And finally I love the instructors! They're so positive and inclusive. And they make the workout fun!
9round is a fun, challenging workout! I love the intensity and the fact that I can get it done in 30 minutes. The trainers are helpful and motivating and push me to better myself each workout. It's never boring and I always feel great afterwards. I love it!!
I always feel like I have had a solid work out after each visit to 9ROUND. The rounds change, the pace is quick and you're finished in 30 minutes. I do not hesitate when recommending 9ROUND to those seeking a new work out regiment.
I am new to a habit of working out. I've tried other gyms, in the past, but I always quit going. The trainers are wonderful. They challenge me. They teach me, and the encourage me. Other kickboxing gyms have students spar with other students. I prefer working with trainers during the freestyle rounds. I learn and I'm not afraid of getting hurt. I also love that the gym atmosphere is not competitive. Every one is focused on their rounds and we all support each other. We are all trying. We are all being challenged. This is the first gym that I really feel committed to. I love the daily variety and the fact that I can see my own improvement. I'm 39 years old and this is the first time in my life that I have ever made time in my day to go to the gym. I started out once a week, and now I go 4 to 5 times a week. i love it. I go to the St. Matthews gym in Louisville, KY.
I have never enjoyed any workout 'class' or anything like that. I have a lot of old sports injuries, and asthma, which makes doing a lot of things really hard on me, despite loving to work out. 9round is the best thing that has ever happened to me when it comes to working out. It works for me because I can do it with my asthma, and the trainers are so good at helping to adjust any exercise to not put pressure on my wrist or knee. They see different people all day, but always remember my injuries and make sure to adjust the workout as needed just for me. The trainers are always so welcoming, and truly make you feel like you are their friend, not just a client. I also love that there are no set class times, and the full body workout only takes 30 minutes. I have a really busy schedule, and it is so amazing to be able to just come in whenever I want and get started right away, and then be able to walk out 30 minutes later having gotten in a full workout. I also love the stations, and being by myself at each station. I can push myself to do the hardest I personally can, and not feel bad because I am not keeping up with the person next to me. As a 'retired athlete' who is very competitive, but cant keep up like I used to because of injuries/asthma, this is one of the things I love the most about 9round. You still have people around you working out, motivating you to work hard, but they're not doing the exact same thing as you, so you don't even notice if someone is better or faster than you. You just do it to the level that you are comfortable with. I could go on for a long time about how much I love 9Round... but I am so thankful to have found 9Round!
The workouts change daily . The trainers are Awesome and they push you in a way that fits your personal goals !! Would like to see my St. Mathews location open uo at least an hour earlier ...2 would be even better !
