I was greeted with a friendly and inviting atmosphere. The sales associate asked if I needed specific help or just browsing. A good variety of options for my needs were in stock. Professionally displayed with fair pricing. The entire staff appeared happy to be at work. Low pressure but effective sales techniques. Friendly conversations during my visit and concluding with a professional POS transaction. Asked options of printed or emailed sales receipt. I felt important and this is how you run a successful business.

I’ve been dealing with the team at Absolute Bikes for decades and they never disappoint. I’ve bought a few bikes from them and have always been impressed by their advice, knowledge and fitting me to the bike. Terrific mechanics too! And super quick. Always terrific advice about bikes, tools, accessories etc. I’m a fan for life!

They had the part I needed in stock, were great to work with on the phone, and very accommodating when I got to town a day ahead of my service appointment. Inspected my bike and made solid recommendations for other repairs and service.
Absolute Bikes’ employees are not in commission so they align you to the bike that best suits your riding. They took their time answering all my questions, setting up the bike, and were generally just awesome.
I truly wish I remembered the two gents that took care of me. They were great!
Absolute always has fast, professional service at a reasonable price. I live in NC and come to Salida once a year for biking with some friends. I always take my bikes to Absolute for service because it is so much better and faster than I can get at home.
My wife, Katie, was interested in purchasing an e-bike for use on our ranch property North of Buena Vista and along the Arkansas River. Our private road here, which she would like to cycle, is gravel and washboard, and Mike pointed out that the Townie she liked would not be suitable for that type of road surface, and that a "mountain bike" would be much more suitable and safer. Unfortunately, at 85 years young, Katie was not ready for a new and more complex bicycle, and although she was game to try it, the dropper post was unfamiliar and led to her crashing on the pavement. Mike was great in helping her up and making sure there were no serious injuries, which there were not. So, she will continue to cycle in our Arizona neighborhood on her beloved yellow Trek and spend Colorado summers riding her horse.
While there, Shawn was a great help to me with a fitting to my Specialized Levo SL Comp Carbon which I never had received since purchasing it in Fountain Hills, AZ. two years ago. As a consequence, I purchased a new and more suitable saddle and met Cody who inspected my bike with 4000 miles on it, and I will return for a full tune-up prior to returning to Arizona this fall. Absolute Bikes is the BEST cycle shop I have ever visited, and I look forward to a long relationship.
Thanks to All,
