I'm always treated with respect and kindness when I take one of my bikes in and trust that the services performed will be of quality. I feel comfortable there, which is important, partially because I don't know much about bike mechanics and have felt judged at other shops outside of Salida. They also always work with me in figuring out what my bike and I need to stay safe and have a smooth ride, while staying in my budget and suggesting what I can do a few months down the road. It's definitely my go to bike shop.

I admire a bike shop mechanic who will take on a tune up of an older bike and be up front about the dollars involved. Your shop delivered a bike that looks like new. I think my daughter was a happy camper.

Brought my Pivot MTB in for service recently. I really liked how the service technician went over the bike with me to discuss repairs and any other potential issues that they see that could be repaired while there. When I picked up my bike, they went over everything that was done and even discussed some initial repairs (front brake rotor) did not have to be done. This was the first time I had brought my bike in for service at Absolute and was very pleased with the communication and timeliness of service.

The technician who reviewed my bike provided a detailed list of items to be worked on. I understood what the bike needed and we agreed on the items. The final cost was a little less than the estimate, so that was nice, too.

What stood out most was that they never made me feel like an outsider or pressured me into buying anything. Instead, they focused on helping me understand my options and find what worked best for my needs. Their professionalism and welcoming attitude turned what could have been an intimidating experience into an enjoyable one.
