I finished riding the southbound segment of GDMBR in Salida and Absolute Bikes helped me box up my bike and identify a shipper to send my bike to an International destination. This was all complete the day after I arrived in Salida. The people there were all superb!

I like that the staff is not only friendly, they are approachable, and curious about me. They love my dog and engage with me every time I come in. They make me feel like I belong.

Staff was friendly and helpful on every occasion. They listened to my issues and helped me get quick part installations done on the spot. Searched for unique headset dimensions instead of laughing at me and telling me to order it online myself (Subculture).

While on a roadtrip through Colorado I had a fateful encounter with a rock on Cottonwood trail, smashing my front triangle. Marcel was extremely helpful and sympathetic and despite no longer being a Kona dealer, and set up a warranty claim for me with Kona. He followed up weeks later just to see how things were going. 11/10 service. If I lived in Salida y'all would have a customer for life.

Staff is very considerate and thoughtful. It's just really expensive to have any work done on my bike. I only bring it in when I absolutely can't fix the issue myself. I'd love to see more of a local's discount on maintenance.

I always feel like I'm taken care of at Absolute Bikes, that only the necessary things within my budget are going to be done, and everyone really wants be to have a good ride. Being a local, some of the mechanics are now familiar with my bikes and can remember past services and preferences. The shop also has a friendly, non-elitist feel, which I appreciate too.
